Dedicated to Roxana Arra
Egyptian smoke
Of an Atlantis fire
Ashes of mine:
Mayan embers
Still burning.

Twilight of Race
Dedicated to Gorka Lasa
Your dreams swim
into heavy water
Acid rain
Fertilizes your stock.
I summon for
The Fire
And its Ritual
Cutting Time Free
From its kidnapping.
Thus a day ends
And the germ
Of Continuum
Peeps out…

Moon Song
Dedicated to Eunice Shade
Tonight
The moon sings
I drink its light
Through my pores:
Electrobroth.
Wild I rise up
In a Moondance
Fertilizing dreams,
A sort of drought
Of the Old Souls.

Fearsome
Dedicated to Salvador Medina-Barahona
A lifespan wasted in fear.
A quest for revelation,
Only dim lights outside
In the pilgrim´s night.
Romancing the Stone
Even when my dreams
Seem to sink like paper boats.

In The Garden Of Allah
Inspired in Leonard Cohen (*),
Sting (**) and Emmet Fox (***)
Thieves of roses
build their house in the desert.
City of deceit
the sands of nothingness devour you.
Desert flower
A rose blooms in my heart.

Take this the best way: I think you're a poet of english language. It's not the same (but you already know) to say "barquito de papel" than "paperboat". The image takes on totally different directions. I loved the image of that PAPERBOAT sinking.
ReplyDeleteBig hug.
I know "mon frere, mon semblable", that´s my handicap, and I´m on my way to return to the mother language, though my ears and senses have long been trained to Metallica, Steve Harris and Neil Peart
