On Translating our Work...

Gregory Robinson from Alabama University will be our guest at the first Literary Café of the Year. He will lecture on how the Panamanian Literature is seen in the USA.

This comes as an advance of the effort the Association of Writers of Panama is going to undertake this year. We are going to translate "smaller than pocket books" with our works translated into English in the different genres (short tales, poetry).

I have always repected the culture of translation that people have in Europe, for instance Romania.

This is how we globalize ourselves in the positive way and make ourselves uniersal. We small-towners... world citizens.

I plan to post here this year poetry from fellow Romania, Argentine, Salvadorian, Puertorrican, French Poets... and more... we are just beginning!!!
